Introduction & Contents:

Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays, is a registered tour operator with the Royal Government of Bhutan (registration number: 1052620). Please carefully review these terms and conditions before booking any trips. Booking with us implies an automatic agreement with all the terms and conditions.

Prices

Our prices are denoted in US dollars and can be converted and paid in JPY, EUR, and GBP based on the latest exchange rate. Solo travelers opting for private rooms throughout the trip will incur a single supplement charge.

Deposits & Final Payment:

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the tour cost is required at the time of booking, with the balance payment due 45 days before arrival. Full payment is required for bookings made within 45 days of arrival.

Young Travelers:

Minors under 18 on the departure date must be accompanied by elders or guardians. Adults on the booking are jointly responsible for the well-being and behavior of all minors.

Airfare:

Tour prices exclude international and domestic airfare. For flights arranged by us, we act as a sales agent, and clients are governed by the airline’s terms and conditions.

Travel Documents:

Clients must possess a passport with at least 6 months of validity from the departure date in Bhutan. While Bhutan visas and permits are managed by Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays, clients are responsible for obtaining visas and permits for other countries they may visit.

Code of Conduct

Clients are expected to respect local cultures, traditions, and the environment during the tour. Any disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in expulsion from the tour without a refund.

Responsibility

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and adherence to local laws and customs.
Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the tour.

Gratuities:

Gratuities for guides, drivers, and trekking crews are discretionary and not included in the trip cost.

External Services:

For services beyond our scope, we may recommend external companies. While we aim for high-quality recommendations, we do not guarantee services provided by third parties.

Changes by the Company:

Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary due to unexpected events or unavoidable circumstances, informing affected clients as soon as possible.

Changes by the Client:

Clients must confirm changes to the original booking in writing. While efforts will be made to accommodate changes, availability is not guaranteed, and any associated costs are borne by the client.

Cancellation and refund
Cancellation fees are applicable based on the date of cancellation, ranging from 100% refund (45 days & more), 50% refund (20-29 days) to 100% cancellation fee (0-14 days).

Public Holidays:

During local events or holidays, certain facilities may be limited. Alternatives will be provided where possible, and Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays is not liable for closures or itinerary changes.

Limitation of Liability:

While safety measures are implemented, risks beyond our control may arise during the trip. Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays is not responsible for such risks.

Insurance:

Clients must obtain separate insurance coverage for cancellation, curtailment, and other unexpected circumstances. Adequate coverage, including emergency helicopter airlift, is strongly recommended, especially for high-altitude treks.

Complaints

Any concerns or complaints during the tour should be brought to the attention of the tour guide or Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays immediately for resolution.

By booking a tour with Himalayan Wanderlust Holidays, participants acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
